ES0209 NPT Sparkle Base is designed to enhance the look of glitter flakes when printed onto textiles. Glitter flakes are normally slightly subdued because of the clear base that surrounds the flakes. This base is extremely clear and allows the brilliance of the flake to fully develop.

Application ES0209 Sparkle Base allows addition of up to 15% glitter flakes. Print through appropriate mesh for the size glitter flake being used. Print with a sharp edge, medium durometer squeegee, with heavy pressure. The heavy pressure allows the base to shrink away from the flake. Cure at 320ºF (160ºC.). Wash test garment to insure good adhesion. Too much print pressure can cause too little base to be on the surface for a good adhesion to the flake.

Note: Some minor flake off is normal because some of the flakes can break off when first rubbed.
