SXT CATALYST

SXT Catalyst SX0515 is a proprietary curing catalyst for use with the Rutland SILEXTREME system and added just prior to use.

Instructions:

Add SXT Catalyst at 3-5% on total ink weight just prior to application and make sure that the catalyst is mixed thoroughly. Once added use the ink within 72 hours. Only catalyze enough amount for up to 1-2 days of print production as addition of the catalyst creates a pot life. Catalyzed inks are best stored under room temperature or less. For use with toners, mix SXT Toners with SXT Matte Base and SXT Catalyst thoroughly to print. Mix 4-5% catalyst with RFU White or Black by weight - use 4% for longer open time or 5% for the shortest flash.

Recommendation:

Use any catalyzed inks within 72 hours. Do not leave catalyzed silicone ink on the screen. The SXT Catalyst can crystallize on exposure to temperatures below 26 degrees C, and go back to normal condition when the temperature goes above 26C.
