SXT RETARDANT

SXT Retardant SX0516 is suggested to be added during hot weather conditions in the shop floor. The usage rate can be from 1% to a maximum of 3% retarder – this will slow down the cure and provide more open time. Note that the retarder is to be added separately to the premixed base and catalyst.

Recommendation:

SXT Retardant can crystallize and thicken if exposed to cold conditions. If it does, the product can be brought to its original state by bringing the product to room temperature and stirring.
